Also… was gibt’s Neues?/So…What´s new

Naja … Ich habe gestern noch einige Dinge eingekauft und Sonntag Nachmittag bin auch ein bisschen in Nea Smyrni herum geführt worden – mit dem Auto allerdings, da die Griechen nahezu symbiotisch damit verbunden sind…auch wenn man nur um die Ecke zum Supermarkt muss! Interessant was ich da lernen musste. Ja jedenfalls schaut es so aus, dass ich dem Schulleiter wieder geschrieben hab, dass ich da bin und hab ihn gebeten mich persönlich bei den Klassenlehrern vorstellen zu dürfen. Daraufhin kam eine ziemlich unsympatische Antwort, dass „der Unterricht von meiner Umfrage nicht betroffen werden soll“ und „daher reicht es, wenn Sie für Eltern-Schüler und Lehrer Ihr Anliegen auf einer Seite kurz erklären und uns die Fragebogen zusenden“. Hääää? Wo störe ich den Unterricht wenn ich mich beim Lehrer in dessen Pause kurz vorstelle und bitte wieso soll ich die Fragebögen zuschicken wenn ich ohnehin vor Ort bin - das ist äußerst dubios??? Naja wenigstens werden sie verteilt auf 120 Schüler! Dabei hab ich nur 92 FB vorbereitet ^^ naja… ist ja egal :p soll mich nicht weiter stören und der Schulleiter wird sich freuen, dass es eh weniger FB sind!Trotzdem find ich seine Art äußerst unangenehm und ich bin froh wenn ich endlich Fragebögen zum Eingeben bekomme. Irgendwie stresst mich das schon sehr, weil ich das nicht nachvollziehen kann WAS eigentlich sein Problem ist. =( Also dann werde ich eine Zusammenfassung machen für die Lehrer – denn für Eltern und Schüler ist das eh fix fertig! Genauso fix fertig wie ich bin momentan.Wenigstens geht es mir sonst in anderen Belangen wirklich gut! _______________________________________________

Well yesterday I was doing some shoppig and on Sunday afternoon I have been shown around in Nea Smyrni – of course by car because Greeks are almost in a symbiotic relationship with their vehicles… even if you just need to walk around a corner to the supermarket! Interesting stuff I had to learn here. So. I sent another e-mail to the director, to notify him that I am here in Athens and asked him to introduce myself personally to at least some of the teachers who´ll hand out my questionnaires. His response was rather unfriendly and he said that I must not “interfere in the schools schedule” and that it´s “sufficient to SEND the questionnaires and to write a short note for the teachers and parents about my topic.” DUH! Where am I interfering in the schools schedule when I just introduce myself briefly and why shall I send the questionnaires now that I am here – this is extremely strange???? Anyways.. at least they will be distributed to 120 pupils instead of (how he said 50!!). I have prepared 92 …hm.. I am just happy when I get enough questionnaires to evaluate although this mannerism means stress for me, because I simply can’t understand his problem. Ok now I will go for the Information-Sheet for the teachers cause the pupils and their parents get one anyways. At least I feel very well in other aspects of life!
